From the manufacturer

Whether you have an OM-D, PEN or any other compatible advanced camera, you’ll benefit from all that the Micro Four Thirds (MFT) lens system standard has to offer: compact size, lightweight, more shooting freedom, high image quality and ease of use, to name just a few.

Compact and lightweight mobility

For all users who seek mobility and professional-level image quality, the M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 7-14mm 1:2.8 PRO (14-28mm*) is a must-have super-wide telephoto zoom lens. The ED 7-14mm 1:2.8 PRO together with the ED 12-40mm 1:2.8 PRO (24-80mm*) and ED 40-150mm 1:2.8 PRO (80-300mm*) lenses is the perfect trio, covering a focal length range of 7-150mm (14-300mm*), all at 1:2.8 widest aperture.

Impressive optical performance

The lens architecture of the M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 7-14mm 1:2.8 PRO with 14 individual lens elements in 11 groups, dramatically reduces aberrations and ghosting, out-performing the competition with truly impressive resolution and edge-to-edge sharpness even at its widest aperture setting of 1:2.8.

All-region 1:2.8 zoom perfect for hand-held night scenes

Compact, lightweight and with a fast 1:2.8 aperture, when combined with OLYMPUS’ in-body 5-axis image stabilisation, this lens is perfect for hand-held wide-angle nightscape photography. Enabling creative, atmospheric and pin-sharp shots in the most demanding of lighting conditions – allowing you to travel light and shoot without a tripod.

Robust all-weather construction

Like all M.ZUIKO PRO lenses, resilient construction of this lens ensures you can concentrate fully on capturing the action, even when it is subjected to heavy use in harsh conditions. 11 strategically placed seals prevent dust particles and water splashes from entering the lens. Its robust construction also makes this lens freezeproof down to -10°C.

Compact and lightweight

Compact and lightweight, combined with robust construction and amazing optical performance, it outperforms competitor’s lenses of similar size and is considerably lighter than many lenses in its class. Giving you uncompromising performance and portability.

Close-up photography

Explore the world of close-up photography with the new M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 7-14mm 1:2.8 PRO lens. It sports PRO series close-up capability, allowing you to shoot subjects just 7.5cm from the front of the lens. Give yourself a whole new photographic perspective on the world around you with this fascinating lens!

Clear imaging: ZERO coating

The lens features OLYMPUS’ cutting-edge ZERO (Zuiko Extra-low Reflection Optical) coating. This minimises unwanted ghosting and flaring for clear, high-contrast imaging performance even under unfavourable conditions. This technology also prevents degradation thanks to enhanced durability made possible by vacuum deposition.

Customised operation

The M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 7-14mm 1:2.8 PRO lens features the L-Fn button which can be used to quickly suspend Continuous Autofocus when an unwanted subject enters the scene. The L-Fn button can also be fully customised, giving you your favourite setting at the press of your thumb.
